There are basically two variants in these device’s one is powered by Exynos processor which Samsung is manufactured by Samsung and the other which is powered by a Snapdragon processor. In this article, we will tell you how to root Galaxy S8 (SM-G950U/ G950W) and S8+(SM-G955U/ G955W) with CF-Auto-Root.

Comparing both the device’s they don’t have a big difference between them since they are likely same. The main difference between them is of Screen size. Samsung Galaxy S8 plus is a bit taller than S8.

- The Latest Samsung USB drivers for PC. > Download here.
- The latest version of Odin. > Download here.
- Enable USB Debugging on Galaxy S8/S8+:
- Go to Settings > About phone > Software information.
- Tap on Build number, 5 or 6 times till you see the text ‘Developer mode has been turned on‘.
- Go back to Settings > Developer Options.
- Tap on ‘USB debugging‘ to enable the same.

Guide to Root Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ with CF Auto Root file
Step 1. Download and install the latest version of Odin and Samsung USB Drivers.
Step 2.. Download and extract the .zip CF Root files of your variant.
Step 3. Once the above steps are done Power off your device. Now Boot your device into Download mode by
Hold Home + Volume Down + Power buttons for 3-4 sec.
Step 4. If your device boots in Download mode follow me if not try once again. Now Run Odin.exe file as Administrator from CF Root file’s folder by
Right, click on Odin.exe > Click on Run as Administrator > Choose Yes
Step 5. After this connect your device to PC via USB cable.
Step 6. Now in Odin click on > AP then Navigate and select the CF root files folder.
Step 7. Now go and click on Options located at right side on Log and check the following boxes with tick Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time
Step 8. Click on start and done.
Wait till the process get completed your device will reboot automatically.
Congratulations! You have Rooted your device successfully.
