Download and Install Xposed On MIUI 9 Devices

Download and install the latest Xposed Framework and Xposed Installer for MIUI based on Android 7.0 Nougat and Android 7.1 Nougat. Xposed is one of the major reasons why most people root their devices. Xposed Framework brings all the features of that are present in custom ROMs to your phone without having to install a custom ROM. Plus it also brings a plethora of features that are not even found on Custom ROMs. For example, with a simple Xposed Module, you could enable an option to download pictures from right inside the Instagram. If history tells us anything, it is that Xposed does not play along very well MIUI. It has got to do with the fact that MIUI is extremely customized from inside and out. Due to this nature of MIUI ROMs, Xposed does not work properly. Even if does, not all the Xposed Modules will work.

Xposed Framework for MIUI 9

Recently, we have learned that the legendary developer rovo69 has released the official version of Xposed Installer for Android Nougat. Following that, now we have an unofficial version of Xposed Framework [version 88.1] which has been made available for MIUI 9. All credits go to the developer Psy_Man.xposed-for-miui-9

This unofficial version is based on official Xposed Framework v88.1. Please keep in mind that this Xposed Framework will work fine as long as you are running MIUI 7.9.21 and higher!

Note that there are two versions. One for the MIUI based on Android 7.0 Nougat and the other for MIUI based on Android 7.1 Nougat. You can download the Xposed Framework fo MIUI 9 by clicking below:

Install Xposed Framework on MIUI 9

  1. Install the Xposed Installer APK file. Do not open it. Open it after the entire procedure is completed.
  2. Copy the Xposed Framework Zip file to your device.
  3. Reboot your device into Recovery Mode.
  4. Tap on ‘Install’ > Select the downloaded file > Swipe right to flash.
  5. Wipe cache and dalvik cache [Optional].
  6. Reboot.
  7. Done!
