How to Install Android Oreo based OmniROM on OnePlus 5T

  1. Make sure you have downloaded both the ROM zip file and the GApps Package Zip file. Note: Make sure you have downloaded the right zip package for the Android version you chose.
  2. Copy both the zip files to your device.
  3. Make sure your device is not connected to your PC after copying the files.
  4. Reboot your OnePlus 5T into TWRP Recovery:
    1. Switch off your OnePlus 5T.
    2. Hold down Volume down button + Power button until you see the OnePlus logo.
  5. Once you are in TWRP, go to Wipe > Advanced Wipe. Select Dalvik /ART Cache, System, Data, Cache. Refer to the below screenshot for help: Install-Android-Oreo-OnePlus-5T-TWRP
  6. Once the above process completes, go to TWRP home screen.
  7. Tap on Install > Choose the ROM Zip file which you have downloaded above and flash the same.
  8. Once the ROM Zip flashes, again tap on Install > Choose the GApps Zip file and flash it.
  9. Once the flashing process completes, reboot to enjoy Android Oreo on OnePlus 5T.
  10. Done!
