How to Get Pixel 2 AR Stickers on Nexus 6P, OnePlus 3/3T, Xiaomi Mi 5

Google takes on Augmented Reality into existence with the ARCore. They also announced that they will be pushing this Ar sticker app on the play store and it is successful there for the Google Pixel devices. AR stickers are pretty awesome since they bring doodles to life.

You might have failed when tried to use the Ar stickers app on your device. No worries! with the help of XDA-Developers, you can now enable AR Stickers on Nexus 6P, OnePlus 3, 3T, and Xiaomi Mi 5. Note:  Your device should be running Android 8.1 Oreo, officially or unofficially.

Steps to Enable AR Stickers on Nexus 6P

Step 1: Download the 3 modified files for your device

Note: All download links are provided by the developer!

Step 2: Enable the Install unknown apps option so that you can install these apps on your device. To do so Click on Settings > Apps and Notifications > Special app access > Install unknown apps > Allow access.

Step 3: Now simply install the apps one by one.

Step 4: When all the three apps are installed, Go to the app drawer and launch the Camera application. Tap on the menu icon (3 horizontal dots) and select AR Stickers mode and enjoy.

You can now use AR Stickers on your Nexus 6P without root. Just drag and drop the stickers and have fun.

Note: For the non-Google devices, users will need to root their device to edit the build.prop file.

Steps to install AR Stickers on One plus 3/3T and Xiaomi Mi 5

Step 1: Download the modified files given below

Step 2: Install the Arcore.apk and Vrstickers.apk file on your device.

Step 3: Download a root enabled file browser and copy the Calibration.xml file to the path /system/etc. We are using MiXplorer for this, which you can download for free by clicking below:

Step 4: Once done, install any Build prop editor app on your device.

Step 5: Open the Build prop editor app and click on the pen like icon on the top of the app to start editing. Now, copy/type the line given down at the ending of the page.


Step 6: Once copied click on the three dots on the top right corner and click on save and exit.

Step 7: Reboot your device. After the reboot is complete download the camera app. Download link to the app

Step 8: Once the app is installed, go to the app drawer and launch the Camera app and start using AR Stickers on your device and have fun.
