How to Remove Learned Words from the Google keyboard (Gboard)
In order to remove all your learned words from the Gboard app, follow the below steps:
- Go to Gboard settings: Phone settings > Language and input > Gboard. Another way is that you can go to the Gboard settings from inside the app itself. In Gboard tap the icon on the top left of the keyboard, followed by settings.
- In the Gboard settings and go to ‘Dictionary’.
- Tap on the “Delete learned words” option and you are golden. All the words that Gboard has learned from you should now be deleted.
How to remove a specific learned word only from Google Keyboard predictions?
If you just want to remove a specific word that is learned by the Google Keyboard, there is another way for it. Simply open your messages app and start typing the word you want to remove. When the word appears on the prediction bar, long press on it and you will get an option to remove that particular word. Simply long-press on the word you want to be deleted and drag on dropping it on the ‘Remove suggestion’ option that is shown. The word should be deleted now.

- Go to Samsung Keyboard Settings: Phone Settings > General management > Language and input > On-screen keyboard > Samsung Keyboard.
- In this page, click on the ‘Reset to default settings‘.
- Then click on the ‘Erase personalized predictions‘ and then click on ‘Erase‘ in the popup that is shown.
