How to Enable Call Recording on Samsung Galaxy

Below is the method I tried on one of the Samsung Galaxy devices. At the end of the article, I have also listed out a few other apps that are worth your time. The method below worked out for me good; your mileage may vary.

  1. Download and install the ACR Call Recorder app from Google Play Store:

  2. Go to the Galaxy Store and search for ‘ACR Unchained‘ and tap on the app. If you are on mobile, you can install it by visiting this link: Call Recorder – ACR. enable-call-recording-samsung-galaxy-1
  3. Now, you should see the ‘UPDATE‘ button. Tap on it to update.enable-call-recording-samsung-galaxy-3
  4. Open the ACR Call Recorder app and set-up the initial steps.

  6. Done!

Now your Samsung Galaxy device should be capable of recording calls.

  2. I’ve downloaded ACR and call auto. Call recorder . It records but I cant listen to it. The bar moves, but I hear nothing. Auto call recorder takes me to Google music,. Same thing I can’t hear it

    • I have the exact same problem. Of course these people are quick to respond when something works but haven’t responded to any of the posts about it not working ‍♂️

    • Awesome! Amazing! And Great timing now that we are about to go back to work at office, I have it ready for my notes… worked after I max the volume, scared me for the first few seconds I couldn’t hear anything.

      Thanks! Crossing my fingers this will work until Android 11 comes with official support, if any…

  3. Worked actually for a few days after I go my new phone i middle of march, then it stopped record the voice from who I speak to.
    I also got the Cube ACR to work for one singlerecord. Then it stopped recording the other side..

    I’ve tried it but it’s only recording from MIC as source which the will not be clear on the other side as my voice and will not work using a headset or Bluetooth? do you know if there is a work around it please?
