Last week, Microsoft teased the New Minecraft AR Game. It was also stated that more information would be revealed on May 17th. Well, the software giant unveiled the wraps off its new game. The game will be available for iOS and Android. It is also based on the Augmented Reality technology like the PokemonGo. Moreover, many games and apps have been also developed since, then using Augmented Reality technology.
Minecraft Earth is built on the new bedrock version for the Windows 10, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. Alex Kipman’s Hololens team is behind the creation of this game. They were behind the AR of the game to make the game more immersive for the players.
Torfi Olafsson, Game Director of Minecraft Earth told The Verge;
We have covered the entire planet in Minecraft, Every lake is a place you can fish, every park is a place you can chop down trees. We’ve actually taken maps of the entire world and converted them to Minecraft. All players will interact with the same shared world, where they’ll be able to build things and fight off the same monsters found in the traditional Minecraft game.

Olafsson further stated that;
The game will also have a progression system, which will allow players to gain experience and keep their items every time they come back to the game. “We have levels that unlock content, and as you go up in levels, you’ll get access to more and more content and more build plates.
The Minecraft team also explained in a FAQ that;
We’re committed to bringing Minecraft Earth to the entire Earth but will roll the game out gradually to ensure everyone gets the best play experience.
It is expected that more and more people will be joining the registrations of the beta testing of the game which is on for Android and iOS.
